Past Experiences:
Mr Lok holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from University of Malaya and Master of Laws Degree from University of Cambridge, United Kingdom specializing in intellectual property law. Mr. Lok also holds an executive MBA degrees from INSEAD, France/Singapore and EMBA from Tsinghua University, Beijing,China. He is a qualified lawyer (non-practising) for Malaysia and Singapore and a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agents for Malaysia since year 1999.
Mr Lok Choon Hong specializes in all aspects of intellectual property and is actively involved in IP consultancy for clients in the Asean and China regions for the past fifteen (19) years. He is the CEO of Pintas IP Group and founder director of Global IP Southeast Asia Pte Ltd, He is featured as one of the world’s 1000 leading patent practitioners in year 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 by IAM Magazine and was awarded the Malaysian national IP Agent Award 2012 by Malaysia Intellectual Property Office (MYIPO). Mr Lok is also actively involved in venture / angel capital investment in IP based companies. He is the founding president of Association of Intellectual Property Entrepreneurs and Organisations (AIPO), an Asean based NGO established to promote monetization and commercialization of intellectual property assets and the treasurer of Malaysian Business Angel Network (MBAN).
